Samsung Electronics in collaboration with Mobilink Pakistan launched the P1000 Galaxy Tab, a compact tablet computer in Pakistan. On New Year’s Eve, Mobilink in collaboration with Samsung launched the P1000 Galaxy tablet in the blogging community of Lahore. A special “Samsung Bloggers Meet-up” was held to highlight “More Possibilities on the Go!” provided through the Samsung Tab. This informative event was held from 3 pm to 6 pm, on 31st December, 2010, at the “Bistro 201” Café in Lahore. Popular bloggers from all over Pakistan expressed their enthusiasm during the Meet-up. The Samsung Bloggers Meet-up provided a deeper insight about the capabilities and advantages of the Tab, which provides a world of new possibilities for the Bloggers and individuals on the go.

There were even many prizes given away including one Galaxy tablet to winner of an online competition, Hammed Dar of KoolMuzone from Islamabad. Two mobile phones and many Mobilink, Samsung goody bags were distributed among bloggers by asking pop questions.

As a look into the previous year 2010, Mobilink arranged 3 blogger meet-ups, one in Lahore for the Launch of Motorola Milestone – the android phone in the local market. The second one was arranged in Islamabad to mark the launch of HTC HD7 Windows Mobile Phone 7 powered smartphone. The last blogger meet-up was held on December 31st to celebrate the launch of Samsung Galaxy Tab.
