PTA new service “SIM Information System” launched, to update the customer about their subscriptions with the cellular companies, now you can get to know any time that how many SIM’s (Subscriber Identity Module) have been issued against your CNIC. PTA have released this service with the help of Cellular Networks of Pakistan.
Currently you can check online by visiting http://www.pta.gov.pk/668/ . Or just sending a sms putting your NIC number without space and dashes and press it to 668, soon you will get a reply sms from 668 where you will see the Network name and number of SIM issued like,

Telenod:2
Ufone:1
Mobilink:1
SMS charges are Rs. 2+Tax
After getting the sms you will be updated whether you have issued any SIM or it has been issued wrongly by using your CNIC, If you get any info of SIM which you haven’t issued but it in your name, don’t waste any single minute visit the nearest Service Centre and place request to block the SIM immediately.
